Vendor Spotlight: On Cue Sports Bar and Grill

During the same triple date where I met Chris Grady at Royal Cinemas, the guys in our group decided to go to On Cue Sports Bar and Grill while the rest of us caught the movie, playing pool and having drinks upstairs. It says something about a place when your group can split up for the night and everyone still ends up exactly where they wanted to be.

Cole and Danielle Haase started On Cue back in October 2017 on Commerce Avenue, and by 2024 had outgrown that space enough to move into their current spot at 206 East Main Street, a 10,600 square foot building with two full floors. Cole has played pool for over 20 years; Danielle picked it up more recently, in 2015. Downstairs holds the sports bar, the food, and the games kids can jump into with their parents. Upstairs is the real pool hall, nine Diamond tables under good lighting, the kind of setup serious players and casual ones can both enjoy in the same night.

What makes On Cue stand out to me is how often they open their doors for the community on their own time. They host the Warren County Social Collective every third Tuesday of the month, and the Front Royal running group stops in after their Sunday runs to unwind together. When Royal Cinemas was fighting to reopen after this year's fire, Cole and Danielle were among the people who reached out to help. That is just the kind of welcoming, family feel they have built the whole place around. Their own calendar keeps things lively too, live music and Ladies Night on Fridays, weekly chip tournaments every Sunday, the kind of steady rhythm that keeps regulars coming back and gives newcomers something to walk into.
