Liberty Day: A Heritage Celebration Comes to Rockland Park
Clear your calendar, Warren County, VA finally has its own big fall festival. On October 3, all 200 acres of Rockland Park come alive with hayrides, live music, a fall maze, food trucks, local vendors, family activities, dancers, military displays, a huge car show, and living history reenactors bringing the past to life right in front of you.
And because that apparently was not enough, there will be a skydiver in the air with a giant American flag and smoke trailing behind.
This is Liberty Day: A Heritage Celebration, a brand-new, full-day festival built around everything that makes Warren County, VA special, and part of Virginia's official commemoration of America's 250th Anniversary. Come for the food. Stay for the music. Explore the park. Meet the people bringing history to life. Let the kids wear themselves out. Then stick around, because there will be something happening all day long, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
It is part fall festival, part community celebration, part tribute to America's 250th, and most importantly, it is the beginning of a big new Warren County, VA tradition.
For an offsite or retreat, this is exactly the kind of thing worth building a trip around, a full day of genuine Americana, right in the county your group is already staying in. Bring your team, bring your family, and see Warren County, VA show off everything it has.
Visit Rockland Park on October 3 to be part of the very first Liberty Day.
